Today, the students of the course Digital Health Prototypes, coordinated by Professor Dr. Maria Cristiane Barbosa Galvão, from the Undergraduate Program in Biomedical Informatics at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo, experienced a remarkable moment at the Supera Innovation and Technology Park. It was an encounter where academic rigor, innovation, and social commitment converged. On this occasion, the students presented their projects to professionals from the regional innovation ecosystem, in a dialogue marked by seriousness, attentive listening, and mutual recognition.
This activity was the result of a full semester of intensive collective work grounded in the principles of Theory U, frugal innovation, responsible innovation, and deep-listening methodologies aimed at developing prototypes that integrate technology, method, and social purpose. Seeing these proposals take shape in front of consultants at the Supera Innovation and Technology Park — and being received with enthusiasm, respect, and thoughtful analysis — reaffirmed the strength of the methodology and the commitment of the class to transforming digital health.
Overall, the group received many compliments. The students were treated as young researchers and innovators, and they responded as the young researchers and innovators they truly are.
